I call myself: The Perfect Imperfect Piece of the Perfect Puzzle.
My name is Lori Jae and I grew up in a family of extremely intuitive people. I learned to use tarot cards in my early twenties. I also found I connected strongly with people's past lives. When I would look at them, I would see their faces change and whole stories would come to me. Their stories. I would close my eyes and relate in detail their past lives to them. But it wasn't just stories, it would always pertain to something they were going through at this very moment in time. I found this to be a gift that I would use in my readings to help people understand the "why" in many of their situations.
In 1979 I was living in Wheeling, IL, and I was studying at "The School of Metaphysics" in Palatine, IL. My husband at the time, took a job up in Green Bay, WI, and on Dec. 21, 1979, I was going to visit him in a small airplane with 4 other people when it crashed in the fog on approach to Austin/Straubel Field. The young boy sitting in front of me, and his mother behind me, who I had traded seats with, had been killed. I was in intensive care for four weeks. My life changed dramatically. Not only did we have to move from Wheeling, IL to Green Bay, WI, I had Post Traumatic Stress Disorder, was barely functioning and this continued for many years. I still wanted to start a metaphysical school in Green Bay, but was unable to because of my health. With healings from friends and my own knowledge of energy balancing, I started to improve and get my strength back. I started doing readings again on my own for personal friends and then more people started to come for readings and classes. My ultimate love of teaching came through in my personal classes where I would only take two students at a time and totally channel their lessons so that I knew they were getting information completely compatible with their own vibrations. After a few years of classes, I opened my home up to "open houses" where people could come and meet others of like mind and spirituality to share. I was called upon to do what I would call, "universal channeling", which is allowing those vibrations that were appropriate for my vibration to come through and speak to whomever was there about "universal" knowledge. I would then, go around the room and give each person there a mini-reading. These became very popular and helped me meet some extraordinary people. I had the honor of giving guided information to Linda Socker, who then formed the "Flowing Spirit Wellness Center" in Green Bay, and she and her husband, Mike, dedicated the Center to the spirit within me. A very gracious and moving moment in my life.
With a divorce and the feeling of change in the air, I moved to be by my daughter and worked for a year at the Vision Quest Metaphysical Bookstore as psychic reader and teacher. I made some of my strongest friendships from this experience in Arizona and will never forget the warmth and giving of so many to help me through what became another extreme turn in my life. In March of 2008, I fell walking my dogs, and fractured my right foot and sprained the left foot. I had to spend 3 mos. in rehab as a resident in a skilled nursing facility. This was a painful experience and yet gave me some of the most rewarding and loving moments. The seeing of people passing and losing their minds to alzheimers was a lesson in human, earth plane existence. In this atmosphere, I realized that I needed to be by my grandson. My family was very open and loving to the idea of "grandma" coming to live by them. They brought me to Louisville, KY, where I am now living and want to bring my unique type of psychic reading and teaching. I now teach classes and do readings in AZ, WI and KY.
My life has been a fantastic journey. During the years between 1991 and 2006 , I painted as a self taught artist in acrylics. Again, meeting some of the most remarkable people including, Norbert H. Kox, who taught me his personal technique in the realm of glazing. This brought me to another level of creativity and with his guidance I now have paintings in the personal collections of the University of Wisconsin--Green Bay, the Neville Public Museum and a private museum in Eau Claire, WI.
