Leo Tudela is CEO, Managing Director, and co-founder of Manifest Institute, Inc. As a former CEO of a franchise company recognized by Entrepreneur magazine as a Franchise 500 company, he was instrumental in assisting future business owners achieve their dream of small business ownership.
Leo has owned many businesses in the past, most recently a business brokerage where he was a leading Business Broker / Intermediary in the Northern Virginia / Washington DC area. He has owned, worked in, or been closely associated with businesses in the following areas: business brokerage, mergers and acquisitions, computer software design and marketing, retail and service based franchises, distribution logistics, periodicals and postal affairs, and mortgage finance.
He has been awarded many industry awards and has been recognized in Who's Who in American Business. In addition to being interviewed by ABC, numerous magazines, newspapers, and newsletters, he has authored published articles regarding different aspects of strategic business growth, business sale transactions, and business and equipment valuations.
Leo was also a former counselor for the Small Business Development Center (SBDC) in the Northern Virginia area and has been recognized as an expert on franchising, franchise development and structure, and the business acquisition process. He has successfully written and presented successful seminars on franchising.
As a seminar speaker, Leo has been frequently asked to conduct and speak to small to large audiences on business topics such as franchise businesses, small business formation, and development and exit strategy plans. He has spoken at the International Franchise Association's annual conference in Orlando in 2008, where he conducted two round table discussions on the challenges of a startup Franchise system.
He frequently performs consultation services to assist clients in the purchase and sale of a business, strategic planning and high growth strategies.
Leo is also certified as a Small Business Analyst (SBA) and Machinery/Equipment Analyst (MEA), two leading certifications within the business brokerage / appraisal / equipment industry. |
