If I were to have a wish
granted it would be that I could teach everyone to understand their purpose and
to know their infinite worth. Each of us is a child of deity. We are talented
and valuable just as we are.
I
have been greatly blessed to have met special people in my life that have
incredible characters, full of love, compassion and humor. Most of these
wonderful people I speak of have suffered incredible trials.
Some of my special friends
have suffered the loss of physical mobility, mental functions and loss of children. These things
I can only guess at the sheer depth of despair and pain that they have endured
with such grace and incredible dignity. Each one of them has been a great
example to me.
We each have our own unique
path mapped out for us, our own experiences and our own trials and temptations
put before us. Every- thing we go
through is for a reason. Once we understand that, we can start to be selective
about what we will and won’t put our self through. We can choose the type of
experience we want and don’t allow the ones we don’t want into our life.
Adam
and Eve lived in a beautiful garden and it wasn’t until they started making
choices that they ended up with weeds to pull.
We
are always faced with choices and sometimes the wrong choice can lead to hours,
days, weeks or even years of heartache and despair.
How
do I know… because I have had more than my share.
Sometimes
from wrong choices; sometimes
from other
peoples wrong choices.
Much
of my heartache has come from within, because of how I re-acted to the many
situations that were thrust upon me.
Many
of my heartfelt experiences have been because of my dwelling on things that
were negative.
Things
that grew because I gave them the dirt to grow in and I watered and fed them
and picked them off and re-planted them and grew them all over again…..
It is
called habit.
The biggest Room in the World is the Room for Improvement
It matters not that we have weaknesses, but what we are doing about them.
When you try to eliminate a habit, If the spot where it used to be is left open it will sneak back when you discard it.
Replace it with something good.
Our life can be what we
want it to be.
No matter what our
circumstances are. It takes courage to
change and it means stepping out of our comfort zone.
Sometimes we are
comfortable with our surroundings although we are often unhappy being there. Most often we don't realize it is
us that have brought the situation into our lives by our thoughts and our
beliefs.
There is always that
voice, that self talk and the conditioning of our thoughts that has led us to
where we are; Too often we don't know what to do and how to stop it from
happening.
We can have whatever we
want; we can overcome whatever situation we are in.
All we need is the desire followed by action.
Steps taken to control
what we think and how we feel about some given situation can be taken through
practicing positive thoughts, shutting out the self sabotage and filling the
void with good positive emotions.
We can stop and overcome the way we act and feel in any given situation.
It takes loads of
courage to change old habits, but it is worth it.
You sculpt
yourself with your thoughts
You are the architect of your life.
Take a long look at what you think about
when you are alone with your thoughts. Quite often it is negative self talk. An
inner voice telling you, you can’t do it. Or you don’t deserve it.
You do deserve
it.
You deserve everything you ever dreamed
of. It is yours for the taking.
